Awaleh Adan is a music artiste from Djibouti, that took the country by surprise on the 31st of December, 2005.

On that very day, a legend was unveiled as Awaleh Adan held the launch of his debut album, "Tousmo" at the Hassan Gouled National stadium. It was a solo concert and for the very first time in the history of Djibouti, a young music artiste pulled over 10,000 guests to an event. A feat that will not be soon forgotten by BBC.

Awaleh Adan was born on the 6th of April, 1983.

Unlike his friends, at their tender age, while they took up passion in soccer, Awaleh Adan took up passion in music. Focusing on, reconciling mankind to one another through his music.

Awaleh Adan used to be the leader of a music group back then, known as "Narouro". At the release of his debut album "Tousmo", it became a classic hit, made sales as the topmost selling album, within 2005/2006. The album gained, popularity across neighboring borders even to the distant Canada.

Awaleh Adan had embarked on regional tours in neighboring countries, like Algeria, Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda to name a few, which recorded successes.

Presently Awaleh Adan, is one of the most classic music act from the Eastern Africa region. A well respected ambassador of note in Djibouti music.

Awaleh Adan is now based in Canada with his family. Quite a big personality, as far as music is concerned in Djibouti. A country, where very less is known of its entertainment.
